Pope Flag Football Coaching Staff
Coach Fraser is the Head Coach of the Pope Flag Football Team. He has been coaching flag football at Pope since 2021 when the program began. Coach Fraser is a Pope High School graduate in the class of 2011. He studied at Auburn University with a degree in Business Marketing in 2015. In 2019, Coach Fraser switched careers from business to teaching, and received his Masters in the Arts of Teaching at the University of West Georgia. Coach Fraser has been at Pope since 2020 and teaches Business & Computer Science. He is married to his wife, Kaitlyn, and has twin 1 year old children, MJ and Beau. Coach Fraser loves playing golf, watching football, and spending time with friends and family.

Coach Shannon Woodson is one of the Assistant Flag Football coaches and has been with the program since 2021 when the program began. Previously, she has coached JV Girls Soccer, JV Girls Tennis and Varsity Girls Tennis at Pope High School. Coach Woodson has 20 years teaching experience and currently teaches US History and American Government at Pope High School. An Atlanta native and a graduate of Roswell High School, Coach Woodson holds a Bachelor’s in History from Georgia State University and a Masters in the Art of Teaching from the Citadel. Married for 29 years to Robert Woodson, they have one son. Coach Woodson enjoys watching football and college basketball, reading and spending time with her family.
Coach Mark “Foz” Fraser loves sports and people, and coached his 3 children in all of their sporting activities while they grew up. After working in the business world for 40 years, he returned to coaching as an Assistant Coach for Greyhounds Flag Football. Foz is having the time of his life coaching with his son (Coach Fraser) and Coach Woodson, and working with our amazing student athletes. Foz has been married for 40 years to Ann Marie, affectionately known by the team as “Moz”, and they have 3 children and 8 grandchildren.
